Ramona R. Gonzalez

On April 1, 1943 she was married to Jose S. Gonzalez. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her compassion. Ramona was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and of the St. Joseph Rosary Society. She was loved by many, many people and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Gonzalez and a daughter, Lydia G. Gomez; her father, Ricardo M. Rodriguez Sr.; sisters, Aurora Silva, Paula Franco and Angie Ochoa; brothers, Ricardo M. Rodriguez Jr., Alfredo Rodriguez and Paschal Rodriguez.

Survivors include her children, Alicia Mendiola of Pflugerville, TX, Joe R. Gonzalez Jr. of Leander, TX and Raul R. Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, TX; sisters, Mary Montalvo and Carlota Davila; 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Cage-Mills Funeral Director’s Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
