She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, James Dean “Tank” Tankersley of Crestview, Florida: two daughters, Holle Whipkey (Travis) of Summerdale, Alabama and Jaqueline Ramirez of Crestview, Florida; two sons, Anthony Ramirez #3 of Denver, Colorado and J Tankersley #44, II of Baton Rouge,LA. Also surviving are her parents, Pete and Susana Ramirez; one brother, Edward Ramirez , all of Corpus Christi, Texas; four grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Public visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral prayer service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
