Ricardo V. Gonzalez

He was born in Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico on September 11, 1940 to Roque Gonzalez and Dolores V. Gonzalez.

He married the love of his life, his wife of 53 years, Wenceslada (Wensey) Gonzalez. He had many nieces and nephews that loved him very much. Ricardo was a hard worker and a very loving husband with a great sense of humor. He loved hunting and fishing. He had a passion for word search.

Ricardo is preceded in death by his parents, Roque Gonzalez and Dolores V.Gonzalez; brothers, Roque G. Gonzalez, Jr., Raul Gonzalez, Guadalupe Gonzalez and Rodolfo Gonzalez; his in-laws, Josefa S. Noyola and Geronimo Noyola; brother in-law, Fidel Noyola and his nephew, Juan Garza, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Wenceslada (Wensy) Gonzalez; sisters, Dolores G. Villarreal and Blanca G. Garza; his brother, Ramon V. Gonzalez.

Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2107 at Funeraria Del Angel with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the staff at Winsor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation on Fig Street and Angel Bright Hospice for their loving care of Ricardo.
