Rita V. Sanchez

Rita V. Sanchez passed away on October 30, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born on May 2, 1926 to the late Martin and Guadalupe Villarreal. Rita was her children’s hearts treasure. She will be remembered for her generous and empathetic heart. Rita loved Jesus Christ and prayed for all of her loved ones and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved spouse, Juan P. Sanchez. She leaves her loving memories to her children, Mary G. Lopez (Robert), John Sanchez of Houston, TX, Maria San Juanita Sanchez, Jose R. Sanchez (Eva), Isabella Sanchez of Austin, TX, Arnold Sanchez (Amanda); fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great- great grandchild; and her sister, Lupe Mendez of Houston, TX. Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
