He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Samuel Gutierrez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Gutierrez; children, Miguel Gutierrez (JoAnna), Matthew Gutierrez (Heatherjo) and Timothy Gutierrez (Ruby); grandchildren, Micah, Nicolas, Julian, Luke, Isabella, Makeena, Matthew, and Jonah; siblings, Eloisa Garcia, Amador Gutierrez (Yolanda), Nora Gutierrez and Belinda Pompa (Ruben); nephews, Frank Gutierrez, Gabriel Gutierrez, and niece, Celina Fuentes (Gilbert).

A visitation for Roberto will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A vigil service and rosary will occur Monday, July 19, 2021 at 7:00 PM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An interment will occur Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
