Roberto Quiroga, lovingly known as “Bobby” and “Little Bob,” passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 46, in San Antonio, Texas. Corpus Christi, Texas was his first home —a place where he was born, raised, and where he built lifelong bonds and touched countless lives.
Bobby was the kindest, funniest, and most loving son, brother, father, uncle, family member and friend one could hope to know. He had a gentle heart, a warm smile, and a natural way of making those around him feel safe, cared for, and welcome. A protector by nature, Bobby always looked out for those he loved, offering strength, comfort, and unwavering loyalty. His presence brought laughter and reassurance, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was a devoted father to his daughters, Isabella, Serenity, Jessica and son Brian, who were the center of his world. Despite his ongoing illness, Bobby never stopped dreaming or speaking of the future. His will to keep going was fueled by his deep love for his kids and his hope to witness as much of their lives—and life itself—as possible.
Bobby had many passions, all rooted in love and connection. He loved family, friends, football, gaming, watching anime with his family, and delicious foods. He loved bringing people together, making them laugh or just checking in with them. Whether through food, humor, or quiet acts of kindness, Bobby gave of himself freely. He always chose to give light even when things were dark for him.
He is survived by his parents, Roberto and Maria Quiroga; his sisters, Kimberly Quiroga Torres and Ashley Quiroga; his beloved daughters, Isabella and Serenity; and bonus kids, Brian and Jessica, his niece, Ashlyn; his brother-in-law, Joel Torres; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Bobby’s love does not end here. It lives on through his kids, in the laughter he shared so freely, and in the countless lives he touched. We take comfort in our faith, trusting that he now rests in God’s eternal peace, watching over his girls and all those he loved.
