Roel (Roy) Cadena passed away on May 5, 2013. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 6, 1945 to Victor G. and Maria L. Cadena. Roy lived his life with integrity love and generosity. His kindness was felt by all who knew him. He lived his life through Faith and devotion to God and family. We will all miss his laughter, smile and big heart.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years and Junior High sweetheart, Rose Marie Cadena: his sister Elizabeth (Tino) Perez: his brother, David Cadena: his children; Victor, Christina and Anna Lisa Cadena. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories; his grandchildren, Stefanie, Jerry (J.R.), Nicole, Kelli, Casy, Haley, Ella, Sonny, numerous nieces, nephews whom he loved and treasured.
Family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Chapel and visitation will resume at 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Solid Rock Worship Center on Thursday, May 9, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Solid Rock Worship Center. Services will conclude at church.
