Rosalinda C. Gonzalez went Home to be with Our Lord and Savior, on August 10, 2016, at the age of 58. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on May 23, 1958, to Theodoro and Dora Contreras. She loved entertaining family and friends in her home. Rosalinda had a love for teaching and making a difference in each of her students’ lives. She cared about each person she met and had concern for their well-being. She had a strong faith in her Lord and lived life with the phrase, “don’t sweat the small stuff.” Her grandchildren meant everything to her and she loved spending time playing with them.
Rosalinda is preceded in death by her brother, Victor Contreras.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, brothers, Ted, Oscar and Eddie Contreras, her children, Arthur
Gonzalez Jr. (Monica) and Heather Molina (J.B.), grandson, Arthur Andres Gonzalez, and granddaughter, Madeline Rose Molina.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., that same evening.
Funeral service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. Services will conclude afterwards.
