Ruby Sue Schmidt

Today we remember Ruby Sue Schmidt who passed away on December 29, 2022. Ruby wanted only the best for her family and would ask nothing more for the loved ones she leaves behind to do good and live to be happy.

Ruby was born on April 23rd, 1938, in Etowah, Alabama. She dedicated her life to her family and the Lord Jesus Christ. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry; and Son, Billy. She is survived by her children, Douglas Curtis, Charlotte Kennedy, Ricci Curtis, Cheryl Mccrory, and Daniel Curtis; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

No more pain, no more sorrow

Our time on earth is only borrowed.

From dust we are and dust we shall return.

Ruby Sue Schmidt will rest in peace rejoicing in the arms of her heavenly father. Her Pallbearers are Justin and James Mccrory, Josh Wharton, Harold Allen, and Ricci and Joshua Curtis.

A public visitation for Ruby will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
