A year with you gone sure has me thinking a lot… Sometimes when I wake up in the morning groggy as ever I’ll shuffle my way to the bathroom mirror, I’ll wipe my eyes to see glimpses of you staring back. Sometimes I see you in my laugh lines and wrinkles. Those end up being the best mornings. 
I hear you in my mama’s laugh on the mornings I call. And when Day plays gardener and somehow ends up with dirt on every inch of her body I know it’s you teaching her the ways of nature. 
I wish you could hold me in your arms just one more time but instead every night Uma’s little hugs feel as big as yours and I know you are with me.

Miss you momma.  Life is so much different with out you. I did all the thing's we talked about. You'd be so proud of us. You're always here with Sam and I, thank you for answering all my prayers. You always came through even in death.   Love you to the farthest galaxy and back.  I'll see see you again in heaven or in another life.

I remember Saggie,  as children, when our parents visited her and Manuel's home, we played with their children.  I always remember how beautiful, as I looked through  the memorial pictures, she remained beautiful.  May   you rest in peace , you and your family are in  my thoughts and prayers. Grandma,  you were wildly passionate about the things and the people you loved. I’ll miss that. You knew how to make any meal feel like home and you baked cookies that those who had the pleasure of having will be dreaming about into their eighties.  I’ll never forget your green thumb that I swear could change the world given the chance. You were so special in so many ways.
I know you’ll always be with each of us, though. You’ll be in our hands when we work hard at something new. You be in with our happiness when someone new is born. You’ll be in the steps we take when we travel to new places. You be in the corners in our smiles when we are about to laugh. Mama the Angels gathered near your bed, so very close to you.  Mama they knew the pain and suffering that you were going through. 

I thought about so many things as held on tightly to your hand. Mama, how I wished that you were strong and happy once again.

Mama I knew your eyes were looking homeward, to that place in heaven. I knew Mama when Jesus held His outstretched arms, it was time to say goodbye. 

Mama I struggled with my Selfish thoughts, I wanted you to stay. So we could walk and talk again, like we did just yesterday.

A mother’s love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know.

But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on-like a legacy of love that will always be with us.  May that love surround us now and bring us peace.

Grandma’s love held me with beautiful hands that lifted me up throughout my life, I cherish every memory and long for more. I love you Grandma.

Saggie was a dear friend and colleague.  She was a great OB nurse.  She never found anyone that she could not find good in.

She was a devoted mother to her 6 children.  She taught them to be respectful and work hard.

Saggie will be missed by many.  She will honored in to the kingdom and continue to watch over her beloved.
