She was born in Alice, Texas on February 16, 1952.
San Juanita was married to Jose G. Sanchez on September, 25, 1972.
She worked in the medical field for Charter, Bayview and Padre Behavorial Hospitals.
San Juanita was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Corpus Christi Cathedral. She had a passion for serving God, and secondly her family which she adored.
She is survived by Enrique Cortez, Jr., Abel Sanchez, Jessie Sanchez (Monica); grandchildren, Juliana, Jesse Julian and Joseph Sanchez. Also surviving are her siblings, Mario Garcia (Angelica), Joe Garcia (Melva), Eloy Garcia (Linda), Victor Garcia, Emma G. Garza and Yolanda G. Rea.
Public visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
