He was born on September 17, 1917 in Mexico to the late Maximiliano and Sara Reyes. He worked at Robert Driscoll Hotel for 25 years and retired from Sheraton Marina after 30 years of service as an engineer.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria P. Alejandro Reyes and his daughter Sara Reyes.
Santos leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, seven children; Hilario Reyes, Paula (Manuel) Arias, Delmira (Juan) Mendiola, Juan Reyes, Jimmy (Yolanda) Reyes, Sarah (Raymond) Chavez and David (Mary) Reyes; nineteen grandchildren, one adopted grandchild, Jackqueline Reyes (Felix); forty great- grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 1302 Lantana on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 am, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
