Santos Garcia Rios

Santos Garcia Rios of Corpus Christi entered into eternal rest at his residence surrounded by his wife and family on July 11, 2023. He was born February 21, 1938, to proud parents Braulio and Francisca Garcia Rios.

He was a master craftsman who took pride in his work and retired from Fulton Construction after 23 years. He enjoyed playing pool and fishing but more importantly he enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Santos is preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, and his late wife Irma Garcia.

Left to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy is his devoted wife Eva G. Espinoza; son John Garcia (Sylvia); beloved grandson Julio Garza Jr.; plus 5 more grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; nephew Julio Garza Sr.; Martha Martinez (Carlos); Malori Martinez; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Also, his loving pets Chiquita and Lucas.

A public visitation for Santos will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX, with a holy rosary to be held that same evening at 7:00 PM.

A funeral service will occur the next day, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
