Sarita was born to Juan Sanchez Cavazos and Eva Leal Cavazos, March 4,1962 in Weslaco, TX. She married Juan Manuel Luis in June 1985, and they lived together in Bishop, TX.
Together they raised 2 children. She is survived by:Juan Manuel Luis (husband), Juan Manuel Luis Jr (son), Evangilina C. Luis (daughter), grandchildren, and her loving dog Chloe. She also leaves to cherish her memory: Martin Cavazos (Sylvia A. Cavazos), Anita C. Garcia (Raul Garcia), Gilbert Cavazos (Nora M Cavazos), Sandra C Castillo (Danny Castillo) Tommy Cavazos, Senaida C. Garcia (Norberto Garcia), Ruben Cavazos, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: Juan Sanchez Cavazos (father), Eva Leal Cavazos (mother), Frank Cavazos (brother) Ralph Cavazos (brother), Maria C. Contreras (sister), & Guadalupe Cavazos (brother).
Sara enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, gambling arts & crafts, and vacationing.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for February 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery.
