Steven was preceded in death by his grandfather Jesus A. Abrego and his grandmother, Gloria Jean Mendez, whom he loved dearly and will reunite with in Heaven.
Steven is survived by his father Steve (Carmen) Abrego, and his aunts, Alison Contreras and Janice Flores. He was also blessed with a brother, Christopher Abrego and a sister, Aleena Abrego; his cousins Jessica Gonzales and Daniel Ray Gonzales; and his grandfathers, Ray Gonzalez and Alfred Flores. Steven was also blessed with numerous close family members and friends that will truly miss him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
