Steven Edward Hemmings III, was born on March 28, 1960 in Corpus Christi, TX. He passed away on August 2, 2023 at 63 years old. Steven was known to most as Jr. He was an amazing person and a loving son and father to his four children, who he loved dearly. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He loved the Dallas Cowboys even though they would make him mad. You would always catch him by the BBQ pit at family get togethers. Steve took pleasure in the little things in life like going grocery shopping at his local HEB and cooking his family dinner. He was dearly loved and is truly missed.

Survivors: Mother, Adelaida Hemmings; Son, James R Hemmings (Ashley Hemmings), Brandon S Hemmings (Denise Hemmings), Shawn E Hemmings and Daughter, Shauna E Hemmings; Grandchildren, Aaliyah Hemmings, Julian Hemmings, Jasmin Hemmings, Ezekiel Hemmings, Riley Hemmings and Xzavier Medina; Sister, Linda Buentello (Pete Buentello); Nieces, Monique Herrera, Brittany Buentello; Nephews, Jason Buentello (Elena Buentello) Nicholas Hemmings.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Services will conclude afterwards.
