Teodora E Rodriguez

Teodora E Rodriguez, 87, passed on February 29, 2016. She was born in Taft, TX on August 12, 1928 to Mauro Elizondo and Dolores C. Elizondo. She was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her two sons and husband. Teodora was a long time member of Christ the King Catholic Church and their Spanish Prayer Group.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Emilio Elizondo, Lupe Martinez, Antonio Elizondo, Rey Elizondo and Sofia Alvarez.

Teodora is survived by her husband of 56 years, Amador A. Rodriguez, her sons, David (Annelise) Rodriguez and Rick (Olivia Sizemore) Rodriguez, all of Corpus Christi, TX. She is also survived by her brother, Juan (Maria) Elizondo of Taft, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Fr. Frank Martinez and Stephanie Flores for providing her with physical and spiritual comfort. Also, a special thanks to Aurelio (Georgia) Arredondo and all the family and friends who provided support and comfort to us during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel- Memorial Holly on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
