Teresa L. Pena

Teresa L. Pena, 91, passed away May 15, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born October 15, 1923 in Madero, TX. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Teresa was a long time parishioner of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church and lived in Corpus Christi for more than 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Lozano and Josefina Paz, her siblings, her husband Roberto Pena and 2 sons Tony and Tranquilino Pena. Survivors include her children, Robert (Alicia) Pena, Johnny Pena, Domingo (Rosie) Pena, David Pena, Janie Chavez, Eva (Sylvester) Garcia, Nelda Pena and Patricia (Don) Rymer; adopted daughter, Helen Carmichael, 31 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She also had a loving and special relationship with her great grandson, Brandon. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 20, 2015 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
