Condolences To The Family. 
Terri was an awesome & amazing beautiful person with a gift of giving and caregiving.  She always had a beautiful smile & a huge heart.  We've been friends since elementary school and she was the sweetest, nicest person with a big smile then.  I had the opportunity to spend time with her before her passing not knowing she would be passing and yes she was missed. I thought I was just getting off work too late & I was missing her because her shift ended early.  I just learned last night that she was gone.  She was a beautiful person with a beautiful heart, a beautiful soul.  "Rest In Heaven My Friend."  ❤️🙏

My deepest condolences to Terri's family. I first met Terri when my mother became a resident at Cimarron Place. She was one of the most caring CNAs I had ever met and was always so happy no matter what kind of day she was having. I never had to worry about my mom if Terri was on duty. Thank you Terri for always being so caring towards my mom.

I just learned today of Ms. Terri's passing, Terri was instrumental in the caring of my Mom and my Dad at Cimarron.  She went out of her way daily and I am sure multiple times a day to make sure our parents needs were met.  Our family had put together a schedule to make sure someone from our family saw our parents a few times each day; when we would see Ms Terri was there, we all could take a sigh of relief, knowing  just how important all her patients were to her.  Terri was not shy and gave hugs everytime we would see her.  She came to my Dad's Funeral, but was so so sorry she couldnt make it to our Mom's.  I know our family story about Terri was not the only story many family members had at Cimarron.  Terri took care of all her patients as if they were her own Mom and Dad.  I can go on and on,  Terri you will be so missed, but I know you are right beside all who went before her with a smile and a big hug.  My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to her Mom , sister, and son and all her family and friends.  I know she is with all in Heaven sitting around our Heavenly Lord's throne singing Glory Glory Hallelujah Hallelujah!!!

I will never forget Terri’s love and compassion for those she cared for. How she would caress their heads,  and take time to talk with them.  I will always remember how she would walk at such a fast pace with a stiff knee, admitting to her pain but not letting herself slow down. There was always so much to do and so many to care for.  I remember her stories about her daddy and I loved our conversations. Terri worked until the God called her home. Even after Terri’s heart gave out, she continued to give to others through organ donation. She loved the Lord and I know He has a very special place for her in Paradise.

We remember Terri Lynne Brooks, whose spirit departed from us on November 25, 2024 at the age of 63. Terri, was a beacon of unwavering love, friendship and kindness, and we invite all who cherished these attributes to join us in a ceremony of remembrance at Memory Gardens on December 14, 2024. 

Terri was born on October 22, 1961 in Corpus Christi Texas to parents Sally Mitchell & Tilmon Brooks

She was a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant at Cimarron Place Health and Rehabilitation where she made sure her patients received the best possible care so much so that she received two S.T.A.R. awards in 2021 & 2022 for her outstanding work. She was an avid sports fan and loyal supporter of "America's Team," the Dallas Cowboys.

She is survived by Mother Sally Mitchell, Son Ian Brooks, Brother Cory Brooks and numerous cousins, nephews and niece

She was preceeded in death by Father Tilmon Brooks,  Grandmothers Irene Smith & Pinky Brooks, Grandfathers Oscar Southall Sr. & Andrew Smith, Brother Avery Hastings and Aunts & Uncles

Praying for Terri’s family. I’m going to miss you Terri, I’m going to miss you calling my name down the hallway at work. You would always give all the residents hugs and dance with them,  you always had a smile on your face and you were the best CNA. You would always go out of your way to help the residents, even now you’re still helping them. I’m going to miss you watching the cowboys game and the way you lit up when they won the game. I’m so grateful to have gotten to know you and you forever changed my life. RIP Terri ❤️💔

My condolences to Ms. Terri's family. I had the pleasure of working with Terri off and on for the last 30 years. She was an excellent CNA, devoted to her profession. I knew that every time Terri worked my unit, things were going to get done. No task was every too big for Terri. We're going to miss her.

My deepest sincere condolences to the family. We have known each other since we were 8 years old. We have shared a lifetime of good memories. I’m going to miss you but I know we will meet again. Rest easy in Gods arms my dear friend. I love you girl 💔🌹
