Tiofilo R. De Los Santos

Tiofilo De Los Santos passed away on September 15, 2013 with his loving family by his side. He was 70 years old. Tiofilo was born on July 8, 1943 in Corpus Christi, TX to the late Tiofilo De Los Santos and Maria Dolores De Los Santos.

Tiofilo proudly served 22 years in the United States Army. He did two tours in the Vietnam Wars and received two purple hearts for his bravery. Tio, also, worked for the City of Corpus Christ in the motor pool of Police Dept. for 14 years.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Suu De Los Santos; four daughters, Jo Ann Huggard (Joe), Maria De Los Santos (Eric Gutschow), Diana Polakis (Theo) and Bobbie Rocha (Joe). He will also be remembered by his grandchildren, Stephen De Los Santos, Kaytlin Huggard, Claudia and Joseph Rocha III and Theo Polakis; brother, Manuel De Los Santos (Mary); nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will be receiving friends at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Chapel services will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Friday, September, 20, 2013 at 11:30 am with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
