He is preceded in death by his parents Christina and Victor Rojas and his half-brother Basillio Rojas.
He worked as a carpenter for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Mercedes Rojas, sons; Victor Rojas (Belinda); Mario Rojas (Ida), daughters, Norma Hernandez (Manuel); Delma Martinez; Sandra Saldana (Larry); Hermelinda Luna (Robert); Daina Gomez (Gilbert);Susie Cantera and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Celia Riojas; Gloria Rodriguez; Maggie De La Cruz, half-brother; Valentin Rojas and half-sister; Julia Garcia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, January 17, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
