Yasmin Rose Palmerin

While attending Calallen Middle School she joined the band, played the trombone, as well as participated in color guard; where she found her passion of rifling.

Yasmin was in the Calallen Wildcat Band and Color Guard for 2 years. She dedicated her summers to band camp which made her into the great teacher & performer that she was.

After 2 years at Calallen she transferred to Miller High School where she was a part of the Buc Band as a Color Guard & trombone player. Yasmin also came back to Miller as an alumni and was in charge of the honor guard for 2 years as their color guard tech.

Graduating from Miller High School class of 2022. Yasmin was accepted to Texas A&M Kingsville making her the first of our family to attend college. Where she majored in Biomedical Science, which was another passion of hers. She then joined the sorority Theta Phi Alpha whose mission “is to create bonds of friendship in order to advance education, social and philanthropic interests. As well as promote community and campus leadership by adherence to the highest moral standards.” This sorority was a true fit for the way Yasmin lived & loved her life. Her family couldn’t have been prouder!

When Yasmin wasn’t busy with her academics, she spent most of her free time with her niece and nephews. Between gaming with PJ, building Legos with Wesley & sharing her love of dance with Becky (Bexley); she was the light of their worlds. They were one of the greatest joys in her life, she was truly loved and will forever be dearly missed.

Yasmin was preceded in death by Gracie & Joaquin Elizondo, Veronica Teague & Anthony Zamora

She will be in remembrance by her family; Melinda Meza, Marissa & Ian Ballard, Parker, Wesley, Bexley & Maria Meza

A memorial service for Yasmin will be held Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A prayer service will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 3:00 PM, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A memorial service will occur Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405.
