Chad Bryan Underwood

Chad Bryan Underwood, age 49 of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011. He was born on September 22, 1962, in Coshocton, to Stanley and the late Nancy (Cox) Underwood. Chad graduated from the Coshocton County Joint Vocational School in Auto Body in 1981 and worked at the Dresden Power Plant as a General Foreman. On July 17, 1982, he married Sherrie (McMorris) Underwood who survives. Chad loved working in his garage, working on older cars, deer hunting, mushroom hunting, cutting fire wood, collecting guns and knives, going to the “Shack,” and spending time with his family. Chad was a friend to everyone and will be truly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his father Stan (Linda) Underwood; wife, Sherrie; three children, Kerri e(Gary) Tennant of Keene, Kyle Underwood of Warsaw, and Kadyn Underwood of Warsaw; two sisters, Kelly (Larry) Argentine of Steubenville, and Nancy Kaye (Jason) Warren of Keene; several nieces and nephews and good friends, Kevin and Sandy Hall, Fred Van Dyke, and Steve Hampton. Along with his mother, Nancy, Chad is preceded in death by his brother, Craig Benton Underwood and mother-in-law, Marilyn McCormick. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, Coshocton. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chad’s name to the American Heart Association, 15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693 or to the Hospice of your choice.
