

Edward moved to Coshocton, OH where he lived for 43 years and worked as an auto mechanic at the Peabody Coal Company. On March 27, 1954, he married Juanita “Chris” Hines, who preceded him in death on May 1, 2006. Edward enjoyed bowling and baseball and he was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
Edward is survived by his children Floyd E. “Eddie” (Jackie) Cabe, Pamela Sue Clark, Gary W. Cabe, Sr., and Sherry Lynn Fitch of Coshocton. He is also survived by his sister Lois Mae Beeney of Franklin, NC, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his wife and parents, Edward was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visiting hours for Edward Cabe will be held at the Given-Dawson Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the funeral home. Reverend Madeline Bellis will be officiating. Burial will follow the services at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
