Eula was born in Iowa on May 14, 1930 to the late Clarence and Crystal Barnhart. During her life, Eula worked in sales and also as a book keeper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. On April 3, 1982, Eula married Edward Ernst, who preceded her in death in January 21, 1984.
Eula is survived by her son and his wife, Michael Spoon and Reva Selle, two daughters, Beverly Jean Scherer and Teresa Lynn Dow-Bollinger and her husband, Gary Bollinger. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Jonathan and Brian Scherer, Falon (Jed) Bosker, Michael Dow, and Jennifer (Terrance) Fhilbin; and seven great-grandchildren: Heather Scherer, Kylie and Kendal Bosker, and Andrew, Eian, Jeremy, and Teresa Brown; and her sister, Carol Myers.
Along with her husband and parents, Eula was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Jr.
Per Eula’s request, she will be cremated and buried at Union Rural Cemetery in Mayfield, New York at a later date.
