Evangeline Ruth Zimmerman

Vangie graduated from Fresno High School and the Tri County Nursing School. She retired from Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, ICU Department after 21 years of service.

Vangie enjoyed walking, gardening, and painting but her greatest joy was her family. She adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She will truly be missed by all of them.

She is survived by her three sons, Timothy B. (Beth) Guthrie of West Lafayette, Thomas A. (Denise) Guthrie of West Lafayette, and Chris F.(Mary) Guthrie of West Lafayette; four grandsons, Jason, Joseph, Todd, and Evan; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Louissa (Marc) Geese of Fresno; and two brothers, John (Janet) Powell of Fresno, and Jim (Kaye) Powell of Florida.

Along with her parents, Vangie is preceded in death by her two husbands, Adrian Guthrie and Keith Zimmerman; one sister, Rosalee Goss, and two brothers, Donald Powell and Charles Powell.

Per Vangie’s wishes, a cremation will take place with a private burial at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Vangie’s name to Health Services of Coshocton County/Hospice, 230 S. 4th St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
