

Georgia was born on June 22, 1939 in Pleasant City to the late Robert L. and Mary Mae (Anguish) Croy. For many years, Georgia worked as a press operator at General Electric. She was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church and United Steel Workers. After Georgia had retired, she became an avid golfer and bowler. Other hobbies she enjoyed were painting and arts and crafts.
Georgia is survived by her five children, Russell Strausbaugh of Columbus, Mariellen Smith of Centerburg, Steve (Marilyn) Strausbaugh of Norwalk, Vicky (Tod) Tilton of Gahanna, and Mike (Carla) Strausbaugh of Willard, ten grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Dave (Marie) Croy and Dan (Vicky) Croy, and one sister, Kathy (John) Morrison.
Along with her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Croy, and her sister, Glenda Croy, and her granddaughter, Darci Smith-Daniels.
Calling hours for Georgia will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, officiated by Sonny Scott. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Pastor Dale Sutton officiating.
