Gladys M Buchanan

Gladys Marie Buchanan, age 86, of Medina, Ohio passed away at Medina Village Retirement Community on Friday, October 28, 2011. She was born in Dresden, Ohio on March 12, 1925, the daughter of the late George Albert and Lillian Estella (Norris) Krebs. Gladys graduated from Coshocton High School in 1943. She worked for the Beach Company in Coshocton, Ohio and retired from Wal-Mart in January of 2005. Gladys was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her four daughters, Sandra Kay Wiggins of St. Augustine, FL, Roxie Jo (Stephen) Smith of Ormond Beach, FL, Pauline N. (Edward) Scherer of Medina, OH, and Barbara Ann (Chuck) Wagner of Fort Meyers, FL; 12 grandchildren, Julie Rae (David Armontrout), Jody (Jon) Rogers, Jamie (Tom) Fay, Lori (Jason) Hohman, Stephanie (Matt) Segur, Stephanie (Roy) Bowles-Heath, Christi Colston, Robert (Margi Casebolt) Bowles, Rebecca Gramjo, Tom (Jami) Scherer, Madison Wagner, and Andie Wagner; 16 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and one sister Pauline Gross of Coshocton, Ohio. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Eugene Albertson; second husband, Ralph O’Neils Buchanan; longtime companion, Frank Arnold Babcock; and eight brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton, Ohio, with Deacon Andy Duda officiating. Burial will follow at Plainfield Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Monday, October 31, 2011 just prior to the start of the service.
