Gladys Marie Reed (Ma Reed), age 101, of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016. She was born on April 18, 1915 in Utica, Ohio to the late Eura (Devoll) and Russell Wantland. She graduated from Warsaw High School and was married to Gerald E. Reed for 57 years before he passed away.
Gladys was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Ladies Oriental Shrine Club. She was such a loving person with a great heart who always said “You are what you eat!” We will miss her loving smiling face.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Jane Ellen (Reed) Bergamo of Paradise Valley, AZ; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Gladys is preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Vance; two sisters and two brothers.
Per Gladys’s wishes a private service will take place at a later date.
