
Jacob Issac Hubbard, age 59, of Coshocton passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015. He was born to the late Norman Hubbard Sr. and Norma (Jones) Hubbard on November 27, 1955 in Princess Anne, MD. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was employed for many years at RockTenn in Coshocton as a tow motor operator. He was an ordained minister and held the title of Senior Deacon with the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, and enjoyed playing guitar. Jacob married Advanced Senior Mother Sharon Grimes on April 15, 1984.
He is survived by his three children: Eldress Janice Israel (Elder Isaiah) Terrell, Sister Loisanna Israel Hubbard, and Brother Adrian Israel Hubbard, three brothers: Elder Nathaniel Hubbard, Bishop Norman (Advanced Senior Mother Ruth) Hubbard, and Elder Cephas Hubbard, and three sisters: Mother Magdalene Barksdale, Sister Esther Hubbard, and Eldress Matilda (William) Stokes.
Funeral services for Jacob will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Tabernacle of the House of Jacob, officiated by Bishop J. Matthias Pearson. Burial will follow in Machpelah’s Burial Acres. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob at 25719 TR 39, Coshocton, OH 43812.
