

James E. Cullison, age 71, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015. He was born on March 20, 1944 in Coshocton, to the late James W. and Rosalind (Egler) Cullison. Jim worked for AEP as a security guard for seven years and Buckeye Steel in Columbus for 16 years. On July 14, 1973, he married Edna (Fetherolf) Cullison who survives. Along with his wife, Jim is survived by his children, James W. Cullison of Coshocton, and Rose M. Wild of Coshocton; step-son, Leroy P. Holcomb of Columbus; eight grandchildren, Austin and Grant Cullison, Aaron and James Holcomb, Caleb Stutler, Jeremiah Mercer, Conner Barrow, and Amanda (Nick) Barnes; six great-grandchildren; two “adopted” granddaughters, Kylie Carpenter and Elissa Haver; brother Burl Cullison; and best friend and partner in crime, Mike Bartlett. Along with his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Mercer; brothers, Harry Dale and Harold Cullison; sisters, Mary McCloy and Martha Green; and step-brother Delno Huffman. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00pm at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
