He graduated from Coshocton High School in 1969. In March of 1980, he married Marilyn (McVay) Watson who passed away on October 24, 2008.
Jim worked for Kraft Heinz for 28 years before retiring. He enjoyed gardening, mowing his yard, cooking, country music and spending time with his family. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his two children, Jamie Watson of Coshocton and Jimmy (Christina) Watson of Jacksonville, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron “CJ” and Nyla; his sister, Judy Browning of Ashland, Kentucky and his brother, Dean Watson of Hickory, North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 10:00 am at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
