He graduated from West Lafayette High School and served in the U.S. Marines as a PFC during WWII. Jesse was a barber and later a mill operator at Universal Cyclops Steel, where he retired in 1972.
Jesse was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Louise (Cochran) Bowers.
He is survived by stepsons Jeff (Liz) Cabot, Steve Cabot, stepdaughter Jody Cabot and grandchildren Stephen “Chip” Cabot, Chelsea Cabot, and Stephanie Driskill.
Per Jesse’s wishes, a cremation will take place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Legion Post 65, 652 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
