He leaves behind his wife of 17 years, Tina A. Bowers, two sons, Kenneth P. Jr. (Holly) Bowers of South Carolina, David Bowers of Cincinnati, Ohio, and one daughter, Miriam Justice of Cincinnati, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by one brother, Luke (Marilyn) Bowers of Hancock, Maryland; four step-sons, Titus Myers of Cincinnati, Hosea (Heidi) Myers of Cincinnati, Cornelius (Erica) Myers of Houston, Texas, and Reuben (Julie) Myers of Gibsonton, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Harry and Arrene Bowers, two brothers, Moses and Andrew.
Services were held at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob on Saturday, January 18, 2014.
