Lois Joan Howard

Lois “Joan” Howard, 83, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Tuscany Gardens in Pataskala. She was born August 17, 1934 in Coshocton to the late Carl and Ora Mae (Severns) Lacy. She was a 1952 graduate of Conesville High School. On November 20, 1954, she married George E. Howard, who preceded her in death. Joan worked as a legal secretary for most of her life. She was a member of West Lafayette United Methodist Church and Jr. Guild and also attended the Assembly of God in her later years. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Surviving Joan are her children, Jeff (Barb) Howard of Pataskala and Greg (Jacque) Howard of Sweetwater, Texas; grandchildren, Tye, Alyssa, Shane and Wren Howard, Clayton and Kelsea Terral and Jael Lemus; as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding Joan in death are her siblings, Wayne and Larry Lacy and Marcena Foster; grandson, Korey Terral.

Calling Hours will be held at the Given- Dawson- Paisley Funeral Home on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11 am with Pastor Matt Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
