Mary F. McCluggage

Mary McCluggage, a 77 year resident of Coshocton, passed away at the age 92 in Newark on Monday, June 29, 2015. She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on June 9, 1923 to the late George and Rovenia (Hughes) Haight.

Mary graduated from Coshocton High School in 1941 and attended Ohio University. On December 23, 1943, she married Baxter McCluggage who passed away on February 12, 2005.

Mary worked for Excello Fabric Finishers, Inc. and retired after many years of service. Mary was a 50 year member of Grace United Methodist Church and a recent member of Neal Avenue Methodist Church in Newark, Ohio.

Mary is survived by her three children, Michael (Stella Lee) McCluggage of Chicago, IL, Phillip (Robin) McCluggage of Mason, OH, and Molly (Brad) Walker of Newark, OH; four grandchildren, Anne (Justin) Bickle, Kate (Mark) Ames, Matthew McCluggage, and Ian walker. Along with her parents and husband, Baxter, Mary is preceded in death by an infant sister, Virginia Elizabeth and her step-father, T.K. Ver Hulst.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at South Lawn Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am at Given-Dawson Funeral Home.
