Mary Delle Slaughter

She was born in Coshocton on December 3, 1933 to the late Charles and Velma (Simmons) Bosson. Mary spent many years working as a secretary for Underwood Insurance Company. She took much joy in being with her family; her grandchildren were the joys of her life. She also loved giving things to others. Mary will be forever loved by her family and the people who knew her.

Mary is survived by her two children: Guy (Debbie) Slaughter of Newark and Ann (Randy) Wheeler of Daphne, Alabama; five grandchildren: BJ (Layne) Wheeler, Karly (Slaughter) Rogers, Kristin Wheeler, Jade Slaughter, and Cody Slaughter and his companion, Jessica; three great-grandchildren: Locklin Wheeler, Aleea Mizer, and Nathan Slaughter; one brother, Bob (Barbara) Bosson of Seneca, a sister-in-law, Gretchen Bosson, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Karl Slaughter III, her grandson, Jeremy Slaughter, her brother, Charles “Bud” Bosson, and her sister, Phyllis Louise Bosson.

Per her requests, Mary will be cremated with a private memorial service held at a later date.
