

Raylei was born to Kimberly Brestle and Derek Tanner on January 18, 2015. She was a very bubbly and happy little girl. She loved teddy bears, but she especially loved her dolly, a pink-haired princess with a pink fuzzy skirt. She loved listening to her father sing Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl” to her. Raylei loved to hold her mother’s hair whenever she was holding her. Splashing in the bathtub was another one of her favorite pastimes. Raylei was very loved by her family and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Along with her parents, Raylei is survived by four siblings, Izik Stokes, Derek Tanner II, Blake Tanner, and Kaydee Tanner; four grandparents, Tonya Richards-Brestle of Texas, David Brestle of Rayland, Teresa Tanner and her significant other Douglas “Papaw” Dansby of Coshocton, and Randy “Papaw” Tanner of West Virginia; eight aunts and uncles, Stephanie and Brandon Wilson of Newark, Kevin Brestle of Mt. Eden, Tracy Wright of Akron, Joey Tanner of Newcomerstown, Melissa Reed of Coshocton, Russell Webb of Dayton, and Shannon Tanner of Coshocton; four great-grandparents, Judith Darr, Donis Darr, Ann Stubbs, and Grace Leaks, and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her cousin Wyatt William-Webb, and four great-grandparents, Alvin Moore, James Richards, Harry Brestle, and Clodie Marie Brestle-Popp.
A visitation for Raylei will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Given-Dawson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 17th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Bounds.
