

Homesley, Jr., Albert B., 67, of Irvine on June 17, 2012, from complications of congestive heart failure; beloved husband and best friend of Carol A. Homesley, devoted father of Aric M. Homesley, and adoring grandfather of Carson M. Homesley, all of Irvine, CA. He is survived by sister Darla Davis of Beaver Falls, PA, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Born May 29, 1945, in New Brighton, PA to Albert B. Sr. and Boneita R. Homesley (both deceased), Al and Carol, his wife of nearly 39 years, spent most of their lives in southwestern PA before career relocation took them to Naperville, IL and on to Irvine, CA where they have lived for the last fourteen years.
Albert graduated in 1963 from Beaver High School, Beaver, PA; attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he was a member of Kappa Delta Rho fraternity; and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force. Al retired last June following a long career in sales and sales management positions.
HIs love of God and family were always paramount and his lifelong passions included golf, traveling, good books, fine wine, and sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. His gregarious personality, sensitivity and kindness, and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed by anyone who was fortunate to have shared his company. His family will forever hold dear the memory of his boundless love and selfless devotion.
