She was born April 10, 1926 to Iver and Nora Becklund at their home on Linden Street in Bellflower with her twin brother Donald. She is the seventh of nine siblings of whom only her sister Selma Cook of Ontario remains. While attending Excelsior High School she prayed that The Lord would delay His coming until she would have a chance to become a mother. Thus it was her delight to serve her children: Richard Rowe, Linda Kelly, and Wesley Rowe. She also was a help towards her nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout her life. As a young mom she moved to Huntington Beach in 1948 and filled her life with such service. Her kindness, continual service, and generous spirit will be missed by all.
Burial will be at 10:00 AM on July 19, 2012 at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park & Mortuary, 1625 Gisler Avenue, Costa Mesa, California.
