

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Rose Weida, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Linda, 73, peacefully left this world on July 31, 2025, in Menifee, California, after a courageous battle with metastatic lung cancer. Her strength and determination in facing the illness were a testament to her unwavering spirit and bravery.
Born on May 2, 1952, Linda dedicated over 30 years to her work at Wells Fargo Bank, where she was admired for her unwavering commitment and integrity. Her career was a testament to her hard work and passion for helping others.
Linda’s love for life was evident in her appreciation of music and her joyful attendance at the Balloon and Wine Festival. Her garden, a sanctuary of vibrant flowers and hummingbird feeders, was a reflection of her love for nature’s beauty. She delighted in the presence of hummingbirds, finding joy and peace in their graceful visits. The soothing harmonious sounds of wind chimes and her love of candles created a calm, uplifting, and positive atmosphere, giving her a sense of balance, tranquility, relaxation, and positive energy.
She was actively involved in her local clubhouse association, where she enjoyed events like Wine Wednesdays and community dinners. These gatherings allowed her to connect with friends and neighbors, sharing laughter and camaraderie.
Linda cherished long conversations with her daughter Colleen, her sister LaRae, and her best friend Kristie, where laughter and love were always present. Her ability to connect deeply with those she loved was one of her most treasured qualities.
Linda is survived by her beloved daughter, Colleen; her cherished grandson, Zachary; Oleg; her dear sister, LaRae; her nephew, Garrett, and his children, Nathan and Isac. She also leaves behind Kristie, her dearest friend, and Dylan, her loyal furry companion. Linda fondly remembered her grand dog Cody, who brought joy to her life before passing in July 2023, and treasured her current grand dog Jasper, whose antics brought her countless laughs.
A graveside service will be held to honor Linda’s memory on August 20, 2025. Following the service, a meal of condolence will be shared among friends and family by invite only.
Linda’s gentle spirit, love for life, and enduring kindness touched everyone who knew her. Her bravery in the face of adversity will remain an inspiration to all. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
