

Antonio was born on June 11, 1950 in Lima, Peru, to Julia and Luis Campos. He was raised in el barrio de “La Victoria”, he attended Gran Unidad Escolar Felipe Santiago Salaverry were he and his brother Hugo graduated High School. He worked at Department of Agriculture in Lima, were he met his wife.
On January 19, 1973, he married Rosa Virginia. They raised two sons, Tony, Mario, and one daughter, Claudia.
Antonio had a passion for wrestling “Lucha Libre”, and “WrestleMania”, especially while watching it with his two boys. He enjoyed watching his favorite soccer team play “Alianza Lima”, loved dancing and listening to folk Peruvian music, “Musica Criolla”, especially when his brother Esteban was the one singing, loved Peruvian food, his favorite place to go eat was NORMS and Señor Pollo, and of course he loved a juicy steak! Dining out with his children was a must. Fitness was another thing he enjoyed, that is how he stayed fit and healthy. He was known for his great and infectious smile, positive attitude, humor, patience, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Antonio came to the United States on January 1978, he was a hardworking man, and a great provider to his family. Soon after arriving to the US, he worked in Construction and even took a side job as a Taxi driver. During his later years he became a truck driver, he enjoyed his job so much he worked until the very last moment. He was very much liked and respected by his co-workers, they said he was a true gentleman, also known as “Amigaso”.
Antonio was preceded in death by his father, Luis, his mother, Julia, his sister, Clara, and his brother, Gerardo. He is survived by his three children, Tony, Mario, Claudia, his brothers Esteban and Hugo, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
