She married Richard Weitzman and they enjoyed a 60-year marriage. They resided in South Orange, New Jersey for over 40 of those years. They had two children, Leonard and Marjorie who gave them three grandchildren, Jillian, Samuel and Alex.
Nancy and Richard retired to Laguna Woods, California in 2006.
Nancy dedicated much of her life volunteering to teach children with Downs Syndrome and other disabilities. She loved fashion, art and theatre, and was an avid reader. Nancy was active in the Jewish community throughout her life at both Temple Oheb Shalom in New Jersey and Temple Judea in California.
Richard passed away in 2020. Nancy and Richard are buried together at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park in Costa Mesa, California.
