February 27, 1930 – February 21, 2019
Patricia “Pat” D. Myers has left us to join her husband E. G. “Chris” Myers at home with our Lord. Pat was born in 1930, the first child of Harry and Hazel Doyle. Growing up in Denver, Colorado, she enjoyed music, delighted in skiing and loved riding horses. Her experiences at Carleton College inspired Patricia, and she cherished her memories and friends from that time.
After earning her degree in zoology, she married E. G. “Chris” Myers in 1956.
From New York to California, the responsibilities of motherhood kept her busy.
Patricia's interests included being a seamstress, guitarist, softball coach, assistant scoutmaster, arts & crafter, and a volunteer at St. Bruno's School before returning to work in property management. Golfing, teaching Confraternity of Christian Doctrine classes and serving as a Eucharistic Minister were her passions.
When Chris retired, golfing, traveling and visiting with friends became a long-awaited lifestyle. Patricia remained active in her parish community.
After Chris passed, Pat continued to enjoy golfing with friends and participate in the women's golf clubs in Las Vegas.
Her Eucharistic Ministry became an outreach to those who could not attend Mass.
Moving back to California to be closer to family, she remained in Costa Mesa until her death.
Patricia is survived by Verna Lalli, her sister and best friend; her children, Christine, Terry and Rocco; and grandson, Nathan.
Dignity Memorial is honored to be of help to the Myers family
