After a lengthy struggle with various health issues, Phyllis finally passed peacefully on August 23, 2016. A longtime resident of Anaheim, Phyllis worked for the Anaheim Police Department as a records clerk for nearly 20 years. Born in the Bronx, NY to immigrant parents, Phyllis lived in a variety of areas in the greater New York City area before moving to Long Beach, CA at the age of 13. She was a graduate of Long Beach Poly High, class of 1950. In 1954 she met the love of her life, Jerry whom she married and moved to Anaheim. Phyllis was active in many organizations; Elks Emblem Club, Red Hat Society, Circle of Friends, Anaheim Retired Employees Association, Anaheim Police Association along with many others over the years. Phyllis is survived by two sons, Alan, wife Kathy, Robert (Bob), two grandsons; Ethan, Marc; wife Denise and two great grandchildren, Jake and Stella. Phyllis is now at peace and can join her best friend and husband, Jerry, who passed eleven years ago. A memorial service and burial followed by reception will be held at Harbor Lawn-Mt.Olive Memorial Park and Mortuary in Costa Mesa, CA on 08/26/2016 at 1:oo pm.
