Sylvia was born in Los Angeles and attended Dorsey high school (‘46) and LA City community college (‘49). Later, in June of ‘51, she would marry her one true love, Howard. Together they shared their life adventures while raising two kids. Their lives began together in Fontana, followed by a move to Santa Ana and finally Tustin where the stayed for 50 years. Sylvia was an avid bridge player, the neighborhood party hostess and a lover of Mexican food and ice cream.
Sylvia is survived by her son Ken (Gail), daughter Adrienne and her sister Francine Skoff. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard. Services will be August 28, 11:00am, at Mount Olive-Harbor Mortuary in Costa Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research are welcome.
