I had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Tran for the better part of three years in a four operatory dental office. The space was small, and the days were often demanding, but the impact of his presence within those walls was immense. His energy, leadership, and commitment to excellence were felt every day. Not many people truly understand the passion and responsibility that those in the dental profession carry. We are entrusted with the care of others, often strangers, neighbor or family members. Integrity in this profession is not an abstract concept; it is practiced through every procedure, conversation,  and decision. It takes an extraordinary and sustained effort to offer the very best of ourselves with our skill, our patience, and our compassion to those who place their trust in us. Dr. Tran exemplified these values through his active leadership and unwavering dedication. He was vocal in the office, engaged in every aspect of the work, and always pushing those around him to be better. He held high standards and his presence set the tone for the entire office. What I admired most about Dr. Tran was his clarity of judgment. He saw the next move before others did and was quick to point it out. He understood how one decision affected the next, and he spoke up to keep the team aligned and focused. His decisiveness created confidence and led to better outcomes for both patients and staff. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have learned from Dr. Tran. His influence has left a lasting mark on my professional path and on my understanding of what it means to serve others with integrity and purpose. He will be greatly missed. Yet his legacy continues through the people he mentored, the standards he upheld, and the example he set. The lessons he shared, the expectations he reinforced, and the encouragement he gave will live on well beyond the walls of that small office.

Val & I met each other at Temple University School of Dentistry and quickly became friends.  Val is a great friend and mentor to many underclassmen, me included.
