William Mark Wagstaff

Bill Mark Wagstaff, 50, died peacefully surrounded by family on January 14, 2014, after a long battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his mother Gloria Wagstaff, his brother David, sisters Martha and Diana, wife of 23 years Sonia Wagstaff , and his two children Lauren and Trevor.

Bill lived a full life. He loved spending time with his family camping in his Road Trek all over the US, and during the summers he would go on long RV trips with his family. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding and jet skiing. In his last few years, he loved spending time with his church Koinonia in Irvine and loved Jesus.

Before being diagnosed with Brain Cancer in September 2010, Bill held Senior Executive positions at a number of technology companies in the Silicon Valley including IBM as Sr. Director of Business development, Panasas as Chief Operating Officer, AlphaBlox as Vice President of Product Development and Redbrick as Vice President of Engineering.

Bill was a great family man and husband who doted on his children tremendously and treated his wife Sonia like a princess. He will surely be missed by his family and Silicon Valley.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 from 5-9PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11AM, Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park & Mortuary, Costa Mesa.
