Al, as he was known to all, was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force for many years, which allowed him to live in several places in Canada and travel around the world.
He was married to his wonderful wife, Edna for 64 years, and they eventually settled down to live in Comox, BC where they lived until her passing 2 years ago.
Al was an avid hunter and fisherman his whole life and always had a story to tell about his adventures.
Al deeply loved his family, his wife Edna, his 5 children, Debbie (Jim), Don (Sue), Janice (Tom), Patty (Daryl), Robert, who passed away in 1992, his many grandchildren, and many more great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on July 6 at 11:00 AM.
