He was a free spirit, known as the "walking man", he was a kind, gentle man. He lived his life on his terms.
Our family is grateful for all the love Bruce received from the community.
Bruce succumbed to cancer, he is at peace now.
He has left to mourn his mother Karen Anderson (nee Owen), sisters Evelyn Jorgensen, Christine Douglas (nee Jorgensen), brothers Don (Brenda), David (Susanne), many nieces and nephews, especially the 2 that always had his back Richard (Char) Christensen, and Jennifer (Devin) Fraser (nee Christensen).
Our family is thankful to all the kind loving people of our community. The Comox Valley Transition Society, they are angels on this earth. They went beyond the call of duty, also the nurses and doctors at North Island Hospital 3A.
There are so many people who helped over the years, who were touched by Bruce.
